The Computer Science Department at Rowan University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position with a primary specialization in Data Analytics to begin September 1, 2017. The rank for the position is open, commensurate with experience. Strong candidates from related areas will be considered. Candidates with significant experience leading a data analytics academic program and/or a background in industry are preferred.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate academic responsibilities for the M.S. in Data Analytics program, including further curriculum development and expansion of the program. This individual also will be expected to develop and sustain an externally-funded (including via industry partnerships) research program or collaboration involving undergraduate and graduate students. A Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a closely related field is required. Deadline for receipt of applications is November 15th, 2016.
