Better Analytics for the Product Experience

When: Aug 21, 2018 11 am PT, 2 pm ET, 6 pm GMT

Sam and Jessica faced a problem that many product managers face - customers demanding significantly better analytics, dashboards and reporting as part of their SaaS product. They had several user types with different needs. Their solution needed to be flexible and scalable so that it could change over time, and, as you know, you are never done with analytics.

In this session, Sam and Jessica will help you learn:
  • A process for discovering the data and analytics needs of your users using user stories, use cases and mapping to data sources
  • Strategies for balancing priorities and managing expectations
  • How to evaluate different kinds of solutions to these needs
  • Common challenges such as permissions, design, models for future flexibility

And if that's not enough, Daniel will help describe lessons learned based on experience with similar approaches across multiple companies and implementations.

If your users would want analytics as part of their interface, you don't want to miss this session.
